Some people are fortunate in finding something they love and getting paid for it. Most people including myself aren't so lucky. Not that I'm unhappy at my job. But I don't love going into work everyday. After all one of the reasons I got interested in personal finances was to put myself in position where I could "quit" Of course I still struggle with an idea of what I would want to do next. I think if I really knew - I do it. But I'm lucky I have by most definition a great job, a great life, and am in position in maybe a couple years take that "next step", right now I'm exploiting what I'm good at rather than what I really enjoy (since I haven't figured that quite out yet).
